It has a collaboration with the Yissum Research Development Company of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, LTD to acquire the commercial rights for neuronal nitric oxide synthase inhibitors to treat autism spectrum disorder and other neurological conditions. The company was formerly known as AIT Therapeutics, Inc. and changed its name to Beyond Air, Inc. in June 2019. Beyond Air, Inc. was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Garden City, New York.
